A large local corporate company recently won a significant contract overseas, which required them to recruit around 200 new staff – with some being relocated overseas with their families to one of three countries.
The company’s main concern was to make sure their new staff had sufficient medical insurance so that they needn’t concern themselves should they become ill or injured whilst abroad.
Sourcing local insurance policies proved difficult, as cover in those countries was not particularly good.
We met with their senior staff and were able to discuss with them a range of international products which would satisfy their staff requirements – as well as the management requirements. Using an international product offered a number of significant advantages, particularly that any staff movement between countries would automatically continue under the same arrangement without interruption.
